Underlay for Engineered Wood Floors:

An engineered wood floor if floated should always be laid on top of a good quality underlay.  The minimum recommendation is 3m thickness.   The type of underlay to be used is determined by the nature of the sub floor.  The possibility of damp, acoustics and undulation should all be taken into consideration prior to installation of a new floating floor.

Duralay Underlay:

1. Improved sound insulation
2. Prevent moisture damage
